Yin Min Lim is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

She writes articles related to politics, public health, education, and exclusive stories for Chinese newspapers. Her work has been mostly featured in Sin Chew Daily.​

She holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego, with a focus on the Southeast Asia region in international development. She conducted an in-depth project on South Sudan’s armed groups and civil conflict as her graduate capstone paper.
